Vintage 1920s Gilbert Erector set 7-1/2 truck parts -- electric motor P58

Description

Up for auction to U.S. customers only is an old electric motor P58 for a Gilbert Erector White truck featured in the set 7-1/2 first made in the late 1920s. It was also used for other sets but could be used on the truck for the variety of motorized variations, such as a steam shovel. It is untested. I left it mounted on the old Erector plates with the wheel, as found, in case the buyer wanted it ready for installation. Tonight I'll also be listing several other parts for the truck -- the hood and parts for the steering mechanism, DI and DH.  Check them out.
NOTE: I have found that the Ebay shipping calculator is not always reliable so please use the shipping cost as a guide only. Do not pay for the item until I send you an invoice with correct shipping cost. Sorry, but I have ended up losing money on shipping charges. I also reduce shipping cost if I can find a cheaper shipper.
I try very hard to satisfy all my customers, and I think my feedback shows it. In order to avoid unpleasant surprises, please email me with questions before the auction ends. Some buyers have requested refunds because they thought they were getting something other than what was described and pictured. I'll answer all questions and even send extra pictures, but if you don't ask in advance then you can't expect me to give you a refund because you made some assumptions about the item. I'm not an expert on most of the things I sell, nor a mind reader, so I'd like to clear up questions as much as you would.
