Stöhr Illner Riedel Model SIR IV
Made new in 1983 when special ordered from Germany. These Riedl cellos can be found in models ii, iii, and iv. Model iv has the finest woods and finish of those three. There is a higher model that adds pretty carvings but typically has the same woods & finish. It is even more rare than the model iv, with the models ii and iii being less rare, but still incredible instruments.
This SIR IV cello comes with a few play marks and some beauty aging/wear here in there, and is in overall great condition with no damage or previous repairs.
It is set up nicely and ready to play with new strings (Helicore & Kaplan combo).
Comes with its original hard shell case and a newer
bow.

purchased this SIR Cello model IV full size 4/4 from the original owner.
I prefer free local pickup south of Dallas.  This way you can play and hear the instrument before purchasing.  Plus, shipping a cello correctly can be expensive, and often needs a new setup upon arrival.
