Old Carl Hofner Germany Cello 4/4. 45 years old. Deeply flamed back, matching ribs and neck. Excellent, well aged spruce top. Artistically Varnished to accent the grain on the spruce and the flamed maple. Well graduated for the utmost tonal quality. Rosegold color. Ebony Parisian eye, swiss pegs, and end button. Ebony tailpiece. All original parts (pegs, tailpiece, end button, end pin). No sound post crack. No base bar crack. Top right side up has a hairline crack 7 cm. Violin maker has repaired (glued inside with cleats). Back 760 cm. Local pick up only. Label inside: Made in 1976 Bubenreuth Germany
