    Description

Douglass Mfg 7 Inch Draw Knife Or Drawknife. Measuring 13 7/8" overall, the b lade is 7 1/16" long, 1 1/16" wide across the edge, and this weighs 12 1/2 oz unboxed. James Swan was in charge of things at Douglass before buying the company and putting his name on it. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. The steel area of the back has some frosting and light lighting, but overall nothing too deep save for one area at the one end. The iron frame has some pitting and there are some light dings along the top. The front also has some patina. The right handle has some stains and dings, the left one does have a check under the ferrule and some roughness, but both are on tight. The ferrules and end caps have some light pitting. This ain't minty, but it is a quality tool that will get the job done. A working old draw knife for sure!
All items for sale unless otherwise noted are purchased and in most cases professionally restored by me. I take pride in offering quality items. Not everything is perfect, but it is as I say it is. Also, I smoke a pipe, drink whiskey, both cheap and good, and cuss more in a hour than most folks do in a month. If any or all of the above bother's ya, well then we ain't got no reason to be doing business.
RULES OF THE GAME - READ ME!
I do my best to ship items as cheap as possible. The shipping method is determined by weight and in some cases, the overall size of the item. Both Ebay and PayPal charge sellers a fee on what they charge for shipping. That is 12% for domestic and 13% for international. Those fees along with the cost of the packing materials is factored into the shipping charge. It costs me more in fees to send a 2 lb package to California than it does to Ohio and a whole lot more to send the same package overseas and I cannot afford to pay those costs. This is a full time business for me and not something I do in my spare time. I do not ship via UPS or Fedex (and they sure ain't any cheaper). I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases. Just add the items to your shopping cart and request that I send an invoice, which I will do as soon as possible. Ebay does not refund the fees on shipping even if I do a partial refund and I would much rather have that money to buy more items to sell.
I only reciprocate Feedback received unless you are a very regular customer. I leave feedback about once a week or so. Don't get excited if I don't leave you feedback right away. Just easier to sit down and do a bunch at a time for me.
