In 1974, Mrs. Crawford had an idea to make exposed aggregate stepping stones.  After a year of trial and error, the process of manufacturing stepping stones was perfected. Her stepping stone business grew dramatically with numbers reaching into thousands produced weekly. Now in 2016, Mrs. Crawford's grandson, Kelly, has taken her knowledge to the next level.  He has developed a way of manufacturing molds from living plants. Creating stepping stones from  plants has always been an interesting idea.  Imagine, producing a pathway that is realistic and durable. We started our journey to make molds from living plants and we were successful. Our molds produce exact copies of elephant ear, rhubarb leaves, etc.  These stepping stones are thick reinforced concrete that has a natural slip resistant surface.  One mold can produce thousands of stepping stones in it's lifetime.  This is without depending upon nature, weather conditions, and massive fields of plants.
